Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

Our Social Media

What a fantastic start to the term! 🎈 We’ve loved welcoming new friends into our setting and jumping straight into exciting activities.

Inside, we explored our facial features by carefully crafting playdough faces with two eyes, one nose, and one mouth. Over at the tuff tray, we ...became little dentists as we investigated toothbrushes and practiced brushing teeth! 🪥

Outside, the children showed off their gross motor skills by zooming around the track and conquering the climbing frame. Down in the mud kitchen, the air smelled divine as we used a mortar and pestle to crush fresh lavender for some lovely sensory tea. 🌿☕

To wrap it all up, we filled the room with music! Incy Wincy Spider was our top-requested rhyme, and Three Currant Buns in a Baker’s Shop brought our maths counting to life. 🧁🕷️

What a wonderful week!

What a fantastic first full week back in Nursery! 🌟

Our little learners have settled in remarkably well after the summer holidays, filling our classroom with happy smiles, new friendships, and lots of wonderful learning.
Here is a look at what we’ve been up to this week:

...🎨 "All About Me" Self-Portraits We kicked off our new topic by looking closely at mirror reflections and photos of ourselves. The children thought carefully about their unique features: 👀 What colour are my eyes? 💇 Is my hair long, short, straight, or curly? Their fantastic artwork will soon be featured on our new Portrait Gallery Wall! 🖼️✨

🦷 Little Dentists in Action In our investigation space, the children loved exploring our dentist kit tuff tray! They had brilliant discussions about how to take care of our teeth, why brushing is so important, and what happens when we don't look after them properly. 🪥😁

Thank you to all our Nursery families for supporting such a smooth transition back to school. Have a wonderful weekend! 🌈😊

⭐ WE ARE PROUD ⭐

A huge well done to all of the children who were invited to PROUD this week. 🌟

Our Senior Leadership Team loved seeing such a fantastic collection of work from across a range of subjects. It was wonderful to see the care, effort and pride the children have ...put into their learning. 💜

Keep up the brilliant work – we are very proud of you all. ⭐

🎸 Rocksteady is back with a bang! 🥁

Our Rocksteady children have returned full of energy and enthusiasm, and they are already busy learning new songs ready for their next performance. We can’t wait to see them take to the stage and show off their musical talents! 🎶

...Parents and carers can still sign up children from Year 1 to Year 6 to join the fun. No previous musical experience is needed. Rocksteady Music School
