Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

🌟 2-Year-Old Learning 🌟

Our wonderful 2-year-olds have been very busy exploring, creating, and learning through play! 💛

In the creative area, the children enjoyed sponge printing colourful ice creams, using lots of bright colours to create their own delicious ...masterpieces. 🍦🎨

In our sensory area, we placed pom-poms in ice for the children to investigate and explore. 🧊🔍 We talked about hot and cold, discussing how warm it felt outside in the sunshine ☀️ and how chilly the ice felt in our hands. The children were fascinated to discover that the ice melted very quickly because of the warm weather!

Over in the water area, the children created waves by moving their hands backwards and forwards, watching how the water splashed and changed. 🌊💦

During maths, we continued exploring repeated patterns on the lightbox, helping to develop our early pattern recognition skills in a fun and engaging way. 💡🔷🔶

What a fantastic day filled with sensory exploration, creativity, curiosity, and learning! 🌞🧊🌊🍦✨

🏆 WHAT A DAY! KS1 & KS2 Sports Day 2026 🏆

Wow, what an absolutely incredible day we had on the field for our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Sports Day! ☀️ The sun was shining, the cheers were loud, and our pupils gave it their all from start to finish. 💪

From our ...youngest KS1 racers to our oldest KS2 competitors, the determination, resilience, and sportsmanship on display were truly inspiring. We saw some amazing moments across all the events, including:

🏃‍♂️ Lightning-fast sprints & relays
🥚 Steady hands in the egg & spoon race
🎒 Hilarious hops on the space hoppers
🚧 Superb agility over the hurdles
⚽ Some absolute screamers in the football goal shootout!

A massive congratulations to every single child who took part. You represented our school brilliantly, showing our Badger Values of Team Spirit and Respect throughout the day. We are so proud of the encouragement you gave one another, the kindness you showed, and the determination you demonstrated in every event. 💙🦡

A special congratulations to Blue Team, who were crowned this year's Sports Day champions! 🏆💙

A huge thank you to Miss Cook and Mr Brown for all of their hard work in organising such a fantastic event. From planning the activities to ensuring everything ran so smoothly, your dedication helped make the day a huge success. 🌟

Finally, thank you to all of our parents, carers and family members who came along to cheer everyone on and create such a wonderful atmosphere. Your support means so much to our children and school community. ☀️👏

What a fantastic day of fun, teamwork and achievement—well done, everyone! 🎉🦡

🌟 EYFS Sports Day 🌟

What a fantastic Sports Day our EYFS children enjoyed!

The children took part in five exciting events: the beanbag toss, egg and spoon race, relay race, obstacle course and sack race. They approached every challenge with enthusiasm, determination and ...resilience, demonstrating true Badger spirit throughout the day. We were incredibly proud of the effort, perseverance and positive attitudes shown by all of the children.

A special thank you goes to our Year 6 pupils, who were outstanding in supporting both the children and staff throughout the event. Their kindness, encouragement and leadership played a huge part in making the day such a success. In addition, a huge thank you to Miss Cook and Mr Brown for all their planning and preparation and to our parents and carers for coming along to cheer the children on.

Well done to everyone involved for making it such a memorable celebration of teamwork, achievement and fun. 🏅👏
