🎉🏡 Full House... Tuesday?! 🏡🎉

We might not have had our usual Full House Friday in the last week of term, with the children only being in school on Monday and Tuesday, but we certainly didn't want our attendance raffle to miss out! 🎊

A huge congratulations to ...Teddy (Reception) and Jacob (KS2), whose names the attendance wheels landed on for our weekly attendance prize! 🥳 Both children took home a £10 voucher as a reward for their fantastic attendance. 👏✨

We then moved on to our 100% attendance draws... 🌟

First up was our half-term 100% attendance draw, where all children who had achieved perfect attendance for the half term were entered into the wheel. A huge well done to our winners:
⭐ Summer (KS2)
⭐ Eddie (KS1)

Both children were awarded a £10 voucher for their fantastic commitment to being in school every day! 🎁👏

Then came the big one... 🌟

Every child who achieved an incredible 100% attendance for the entire academic year was entered into our special end-of-year prize draw, with two £50 B&M vouchers up for grabs! 🎁🛍️

Congratulations to our lucky winners:
⭐ Jacob (Year 4) – proving lightning really can strike twice by winning again!
⭐ Billy (Year 5) – our second £50 voucher winner!

A huge well done to every child who was entered into our draws. Your commitment, resilience and dedication to being in school every day is something to be incredibly proud of. Every day really does count, and we're so pleased to be able to celebrate your fantastic attendance.

Congratulations once again to all of our winners! 🎉🦡💜

🍦🌟 Attendance Superstars! 🌟🍦

What a fantastic way to celebrate an amazing achievement! 🎉

Our incredible children who achieved 100% attendance for the entire academic year were rewarded with a well-deserved trip to Saltburn, where they enjoyed a delicious ice cream ...together at J Becketts. 🍦😊

Achieving perfect attendance from September right through to the end of the school year is no easy feat. It takes real dedication, commitment and resilience, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them. Every day in school is a chance to learn, grow, make memories and be part of our Badger Hill family, and these children have shown just how much they value their education.

The afternoon was made even more special as Mrs Langley came along too as a treat on her very last day at Badger Hill before retiring. It was the perfect opportunity for her to spend time celebrating with the children, sharing lots of smiles and making one final special memory with the Badger Hill family. 💜

A huge congratulations to all of our attendance superstars! You should be incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement, and we hope you enjoyed every minute of your well-earned treat.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at J Becketts for looking after us so brilliantly. Your kindness, patience and friendly service made our visit even more enjoyable, and we really appreciate the warm welcome. ❤️

Here's to another year of making every day count! 🌟🦡💜

🎨 Showcasing Talent at the Seaside! 🎨

A group of our incredibly talented and passionate young artists have been busy creating some fantastic pieces of artwork to enter the Co-op's Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage Art Competition! 🖌️

These children were ...specially selected because they consistently demonstrate exceptional artistic talent, creativity, or a real passion for art. We are so proud to provide opportunities like this, giving our children the chance to develop their talents beyond the classroom and take part in exciting community events.🌟

This year's competition, organised by the Staithes Co-op Food Store in support of the Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage, invited children to bring the magic of the seaside to life through their artwork. From colourful sea creatures to beautiful coastal scenes, our artists have embraced the theme with imagination, skill and creativity. 🐚

We wish all of our entrants the very best of luck! The artwork will be displayed in the Staithes Co-op store, with the winners announced during the Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage in September.

Whatever the outcome, we know they have represented Badger Hill Academy brilliantly, and we couldn't be prouder! 💜

🍕 A Slice of Celebration! 🎉💜

As our amazing Year 6 pupils enjoy their final couple of days at Badger Hill Academy, they were treated to a delicious Domino's pizza lunch to celebrate everything they have achieved. 🍕😋

This special treat was made possible using ...the remaining funds that were so kindly donated by Brotton Village Hall, as well as some of our school fundraising funds. What a wonderful memory for our children as they prepare to begin their next chapter.

Our Year 6 pupils have been fantastic ambassadors for our school, and it has been a pleasure to celebrate with them before they head off to secondary school. We hope they enjoyed every slice! 💜✨

🎧 What an Amazing "Now Press Play" Session! 🎧

Our Year 3/4 class put on their pink headphones and immersed themselves in a brand-new Now Press Play audio adventure! This session was all about anti-bullying and the power of kindness.

Through the immersive audio ...story, the children got to experience firsthand:
💬 What bullying actually is (and how it differs from a one-off disagreement)
💛 The incredible importance of kindness and how our words and actions affect others
🛑 Actionable steps to take if they—or someone they know—ever feel bullied
🤝 How to be a supportive peer and look out for one another

It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, empathetic, and thoughtful during our follow-up discussion. We are so proud of how our students showed they are ready to be real-life everyday heroes! 🌟

Ask your child tonight what they learned during their audio adventure! 💜
