Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

🌟 Our First Week Back 🌟

Our new Year 5 children have settled in so well and have already been busy getting stuck into school life! 💛

We’ve created some amazing artwork, got our brains working with our Maths learning and even tackled a tricky collaborative challenge — ...building the biggest tower possible using nothing but newspaper and sellotape!
There was plenty of teamwork, creativity and problem-solving… and a fair bit of tower wobbling!

It’s been fantastic to see everyone getting stuck in, working together and showing what they can do. We’re already looking forward to all the exciting things Year 5 will get up to this year! 👏

🌟 Our First Week Back 🌟

What a brilliant first couple of days back at school for Year 3/4!
The children kicked off the term with a handwriting task, sharing their favourite holiday memories with Miss Cook, who was completely blown away by their incredible neatness and effort. ...Afterwards, they got stuck into our new Art topic, creating vibrant mood boards inspired by the patterns and designs of artist William De Morgan. 🎨

Day two was packed with excitement, curiosity and plenty of energy! The biggest buzz of the morning came when the children finally discovered their new class read. 📚 They had been eagerly waiting to find out which story would be taking them on their next reading adventure, and they didn’t waste a second diving right in. By the end of the session, everyone was already asking when we could read the next chapter.

Later in the day, we began our exciting new Geography topic on Mountains. 🏔️ The children absolutely blew Miss Cook away with their sharp minds and fantastic recall, retrieving key facts and geographical knowledge in record time.

What a fantastic start, Year 3/4! We can’t wait to see where your learning takes you next. 👏

Wow, Year 1/2! Not only do you look so grown up and smart in your uniforms, but you have had a brilliant first couple of days together!

We have had a busy start back at school, learning a little more about our routines and expectations in Key Stage ...One. We have also made a fantastic start to our learning, beginning our brand-new Geography topic, ‘Our Island Home’, and our new Science topic, all about plants. 🌱

We can’t wait to see how we build on this knowledge next week and beyond. Well done, Year 1/2, for such a super first couple of days! 👏

What a gorgeous first two days in Reception!

We have been learning our new routines, exploring our different learning areas and sharing all about what we got up to over the summer holidays.

It has been wonderful to see the children settling... in so beautifully and growing in confidence already. Mrs Lyth was very impressed! 👏

What a lovely start to the year, Reception — well done! 🌟

🌟 Our First Week Back 🌟

What a wonderful start to the term! We have loved welcoming our new friends to Nursery and getting used to our daily routines.

The children have done a fantastic job learning how to “choose it, use it, and put it away”, helping us to take care of... our classroom and keep it ready for learning and play.

We are so proud of how settled everyone is already! 👏
