It is with great pride and pleasure that I welcome you to Northern Education Trust, Badger Hill Academy’s website.

When you walk through the gates of Badger Hill, you will see a warm and welcoming academy where every child is encouraged to feel that they truly belong. From our youngest children joining us at two years old through to our Year 6 pupils, you will see children who are happy, confident and excited to learn; children who are encouraged to be themselves, discover what they are capable of and take pride in their achievements.

Our Badger Values, developed and endorsed by our pupils, staff and governors, are at the heart of academy life. You will see children discovering new interests, developing their talents and looking beyond the classroom. Through our strong links with the local community and professionals across a range of sectors, our pupils experience the wider world, broaden their horizons and begin to understand the possibilities that lie ahead.

You will hear our children talking about their aspirations for the future. We want them to dream big, develop confidence and resilience, and believe that they can achieve great things.
