As Principal of Badger Hill Academy, I would like to give you a warm welcome to our website.

I am both proud and privileged to be the Principal at Badger Hill Academy. We have the most polite, respectful children from supportive families and a team of dedicated, committed staff who work together to ensure our children aspire to be the best that they can be, in all that they do.

As a school and Trust, we place children at the centre of all decision-making. As a result, we are always striving to achieve what is best for children: understanding outcomes are paramount to enhance future life chances.

At Badger Hill, we have highest expectation of learning and behaviour. Our children have excellent attitudes to learning in and around school, supported by a whole school approach to ‘Expectations for Learning’ underpinning everything we do. This promotes a culture of mutual respect and very polite children ensuring learning is at its best. We are committed to fostering a community of caring learners within our Badger Hill Academy family; to ensure children feel happy and safe and can develop a love of coming to school and a real sense of belonging.

Our children are encouraged to embrace every learning opportunity and to develop an ‘I can’ attitude. We aim to nurture self-belief that anything is possible if we work hard, become resilient and have a determination to succeed.

As a team, we are committed to providing an excellent quality education through an engaging, exciting, academic curriculum that is broad and balanced. Learning is planned with the intent to foster a deep knowledge base with a commitment to basic skills. Our curriculum is inclusive and imaginative to stimulate young minds, offering opportunities and experiences to develop life skills to prepare our children for the modern world.
